Solution: Crossword
Answer: SNAG
Written by Jonathan
Solving the clues and putting it together, we get the “answer” E.G., matching the “For example” at the top of the section.
Some observations can be made here, including the fact that letters are formed in a 5x5 square, and that there is a 1 column connector between letters. Some secondary observations that can be made with this include the fact that all words should have odd length, and that we expect quite a few to have an enumeration of 5.
The clue for 1 across has to be the number in the down clues, as it is the only answer that can be factored, getting abbreviations helps to fix most of the other clues, from there the rest of the puzzle should fall pretty naturally.
The answer is SNAG.
Author’s Notes
This puzzle was originally part of another together round puzzle that fell through. None of the triplets in the end needed specific words, so I just remade this into a normal round puzzle.
